Corrections & Removal Policy
Draft — last updated 2026-09-03 · pending legal review
ANTE publishes records about named people, computed by software from their public posts. Software and people both make mistakes, so every record is open to challenge. This page says how to challenge a call, when we remove a record altogether, and how quickly we answer. Our standard for both is the same as for the score itself: evidence, not opinion.
Disputing a call
Every graded call has a public receipt showing the original post, what we read from it (ticker, direction, entry, target, stop, horizon), the price data we graded against, and the outcome. Anyone — the creator or a reader — can dispute any of those steps.
- Coming: a "Dispute this call" button on every receipt, which files the dispute against that exact call and tracks it publicly.
- Until then: email legal@antescore.com with the link to the receipt, which step you believe is wrong, and any evidence (for example, a reply that clarified the level, or a price print we missed).
We check the original post, the extraction, the price data and the resolution against the published method, then do one of three things:
- Corrected. We fix the call, recompute the score, and the change appears in the public score history with the reason.
- Upheld. The grade stands and we explain why with reference to the method.
- Undetermined. If the post is genuinely ambiguous, the call is removed from the scored set and marked as such, rather than graded either way.
Response target: 5 business days to a first substantive reply. Disputes that need more digging get a status update inside that window and a decision as soon as we have one.
Claiming your profile
If the record is yours, sign in with the same X account to claim it. A claimed profile can correct its own calls directly and post new calls natively, and its disputes are handled first. A claim buys corrections, not deletion of a record. The record was built from your public statements; it stays public, and unflattering outcomes are not grounds for change. What you can change is anything we got wrong.
When we remove a record
We take a whole profile down, and delete the posts behind it, in these cases:
- Impersonation. The X account we tracked is not run by the person it names, or someone claimed a profile that is not theirs. Tell us and, where possible, show us (for example, a post from the real account).
- Never posted calls. The account does not actually make falsifiable trade calls — it was included by mistake, or what we read as calls were quotes, jokes, or commentary on someone else's trade. We would rather remove a profile than publish a score built on misreadings.
- Legal requests. A valid legal order, or a situation where keeping the record would break the law that applies to us. We may push back on requests we consider overbroad, and we will tell the affected creator where we lawfully can.
Deleting a post on X after we archived it does not remove it from the record: the archived text is shown with its original timestamp and marked as no longer live. Closing an ANTE account removes your account data but not a public record — see the privacy notice.
Our own mistakes
When a correction changes a published score, the old value stays in the score history with the date and reason; we do not quietly overwrite. Systematic errors — a bug in extraction or pricing — are fixed for everyone affected, not just the person who reported it, and noted in the methodology changelog.
